Philip VanBockern
Lead Exercise Specialist
Philip was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and moved to
Colorado with his family at the age of seven. He grew up in
Winter Park, CO and developed a love for the great outdoors.
Philip is a very skilled snowboarder, wake boarder and loves all
competitive sports. Philip received an Associate’s Degree in
Science at Des Moines Area Community College, Iowa. He
continued his education by receiving a B.A. in Kinesiology and
Exercise Science. Throughout his college career, Philip played
collegiate baseball. To supplement his education, he interned
at a rehabilitation and sports medicine wellness center. He
learned the importance of personalized programs to achieve
individual health and fitness goals.
Philip has 13 years of experience with different training and
coaching philosophies. He designs multi –functional workouts
that will benefit people of all fitness levels: beginners to elite
athletes.
