OK…so maybe with the looming weigh in next week, and the fact that my whole family & inlaws are coming in for Thanksgiving has given me an extra spark and pushed me to do 2 workouts a day. I really wanted to push myself this week and see how far I could go. Tuesday I had training with Kate in the morning (she kills me for an hour), then I did her Boot Camp class that evening. I felt great, I felt strong, and I had a ton of energy. The next day I got up at 530a and headed to the gym for 40 minutes of cardio and then a spin class at my rec center that evening. This morning all I can say is – I’m TIRED! Maybe it is too much too soon…maybe from now on I might give myself a day in between the days I decide to do two workouts in one day. I think I was so excited to feel strong enough to get through a workout. I wanted to see my limits. Well now I’ve seen them it’s good to know where my boundaries are and now I can work within them. Two workouts a day didn’t kill me and I got through them feeling good about the work and myself.
Best part is I’m feeling so good (haven’t had that feeling in a long time), I’m proud of myself…and to think two months ago I could barely get through one workout.
