This has been a serious workout week so far. Had a rigorous training session with Kate on Monday. Followed that up with her bootcamp on Tuesday night. And as if that wasn’t enough I had another session with Kate this morning. Talk about a sense of accomplishment. Three very hard workouts, back to back to back…phew. The only down side is that today was my last session with Kate. Next week I start with a new trainer. I really enjoyed working with Kate. She pushed me every step of the way. No wiggle room with her. And water – lots and lots of water. She must get a kick back from Deep Rock. I appreciate the opportunity to develop healthier habits. At first it was tough getting all that water down every day. Now it seems a normal part of my routine. And it’s true…I have more energy when I down a lot of water. I just hope I can keep it up.
I’ve become a true disciple of workout classes again. I use to go them all the time. Just got out of the habit. Fell into the old routine of walking/running on my treadmill with the tv on. Thought that was good enough. I suppose that’s okay to do a couple days a week. But it certainly wasn’t challenging at all. I really enjoy going to bootcamp. It’s pretty tough for one hour, but then it’s over. I’m fairly certain I’ll be a regular on Tuesday nights. Now I want to try out the Xbike. I think there’s a class tomorrow. Need to check on that. I figure I can easily fit 2 workout classes into my schedule each week. God knows I love the feeling when they are over. My job is pretty stressful, so it’s kinda nice to go to a class and not think…just do what someone tells you to do. It’s pretty cathartic.
I’m tempted to get on the scale. But I don’t get my next body reading until next week. I can tell my clothes are fitting me a bit better. I’ll be very curious to see how many inches I’ve lost. I can tell I’m into week 3 of a better diet. I’m starting to crave sweets…that’s always been my downfall. I wish everyone would finish off the Halloween candy. Today I found myself starting at a box of Milk Duds..boy did they look good. But I stayed away…for now.
November Already?
